The all‑new Tiguan offers its passengers an exceedingly generous amount of space. Nothing can get it flustered thanks to the flexible second row of seats. Adjust, move, divide or fold down – no matter what you plan, the Tiguan has your back.
With the optional variable luggage compartment floor, you can enjoy up to 1,650 litres of additional storage space. Whether it is a brief relaxing getaway or an extended adventure vacation, your Volkswagen offers the ideal space for all your luggage needs.
Your Tiguan, equipped with Park Assist Plus, can detect if a parking space is big enough and park for you. Up to 40km/h, it searches for parallel parking spots; up to 19km/h, it also looks for parking bays. Once you select a space, Park Assist Plus handles the steering, acceleration, and braking, while you monitor. It can also drive out of a parallel space and complete a failed parking attempt.

The electric tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof in the new Tiguan R-Line Touring Package is sure is a real eye-catcher.
Thanks to its enormous glass surface, it bathes all passengers in more light and offers an unrestricted view of the sky. Its electric roller sunshade protects from excessive sunlight. Would you like some fresh air? The front half of the sunroof can optionally be tilted or extended fully backwards.
The new Tiguan can tow up to 1,800kg, for example, a camping or horse trailer.
The innovative IQ.LIGHT HD matrix headlights on the all‑new Tiguan R-Line Touring Package delight even when at a standstill with more than 19,000 individually controlled LEDs – and also include a welcome & goodbye light projection before and after every journey. The standard Discover Media navigation system offers New Zealand maps, Dynamic Road Sign Display and IDA voice assistant.
The IDA voice assistant lets you control the radio, phone, music, and three-zone air conditioning with voice commands. It also accesses driver assist systems. Just say “Hello IDA” to start. It understands everyday phrases like “I’m cold” and can recognize whether the driver or passenger is speaking to adjust air conditioning accordingly.
Drive safely and make phone calls at the same time? The Comfort mobile phone interface gives you everything you need for this: the hands-free system has microphones in the roof console, while the internal speakers ensure high sound quality of the voice output. The front storage compartment also has an inductive charging function for wirelessly charging up to two Qi standard-compliant mobile phones simultaneously with a charging capacity of 15 W and device cooling. The connection to the external aerial is also ensured wirelessly to optimise the reception quality.
