Community is… what we create together. That’s the theme for this year’s MHAW.

Recent research commissioned by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand shows how recent severe weather events have impacted people’s wellbeing. Over 1,500 New Zealanders from affected regions revealed that community is the key to getting through tough times.

The research shows that strong social connections are essential for our life satisfaction and health. This MHAW is a shout out to all New Zealanders to define, build, and celebrate their communities – wherever they find them.

At Continental Cars, we will be looking at how we connect and support each other – and will be raising funds for Mental Health Foundation as we go.

Make a positive impact by donating to the Mental Health Foundation now. Together we can make a difference.

We are fundraising to help the Mental Health Foundation provide free mental health resources which give people information and tools to look after their own wellbeing, and to support friends and whānau through tough times. Our target is to raise $150,000 by 31 March 2025. Find out more about our fundraising activity.
